Patchwork Music educational services:

This is a relatively new area for us.

We have been working with Creative Partnerships on some of their projects in the Tendring area of Essex

For the Harwich Children's Carnival 2007, we ran a series of classes with a group of year 12 students from the Harwich school. In these classes, we taught them event management skills, and website design. These children also helped to run the event on the day. Patchwork also provided full production services for the event, looking after infrastructure, stewarding, liaison with local authorities, health and safety etc

For the Cann Hall Farmers Market in Clacton (2007), which was jointly organised by Eastfeast, we took a class of year 8s, with whom we designed and produced a leaflet for the farmers market. We also helped the event organisers to produce a management control document for the event.

We are currently working on the Colbayns Film festival. We are working with a mixed age group of children, whom we are helping to organise into a comittee, and run all aspects of the event.
